On the special occasion of Ram Navami, at 12:45 PM, Balen Shah took the oath as the new Prime Minister of Nepal, marking the beginning of his administration.

Prime Minister Shah's cabinet, which consists of a streamlined group of 15 ministers in charge of important portfolios, signifies a dramatic change in Nepal's political environment. The Defense and Industry, Commerce, and Supplies ministries are overseen by Prime Minister Shah. In support of him, Dr. Swarnim Wagle is the Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister, contributing his knowledge of international economics to national policy.
As Minister of Home Affairs, Sudan Gurung leads the government's emphasis on security and domestic reform, while Minister of Foreign Affairs Shishir Khanal manages diplomatic ties.
